The Impact of Control Research on Industrial Innovation: What Would it Take to Make it Happen?

The task force is dedicated to preparing an edited volume that addresses the question of the impact of control in industrial innovation.

The task force is dedicated to preparing an edited volume that addresses the question of the impact of control in industrial innovation. The following industry sectors are considered: Process Industry, Robotics and automation, IT SW platforms, Aerospace, Energy & power conversion, Automotive, Marine and Building automation/HVAC

The objective is to identify and present links between theory and practice for the field of automatic control.

The target audience includes researchers from academia, national labs and industry working in the field of automatic control, as well as industry representatives. The volume will additionally have an educational purpose and can be adopted as reference material for graduate courses or continuing education, e.g. graduate course: `` Control practice and its impact in the future of industry ´´.
